Fahmi Reza is a self-taught graphic designer and visual activist based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. As a politically active designer, he has been openly critical of the Malaysian government through his art and activism and has been arrested, charged, banned and sentenced to jail for his work. For the past 20 years, he has produced hundreds of political graphics and has designed advocacy materials and posters for human rights NGOs and community-based organisations in Malaysia. He is committed to combining art, activism and politics to explore the role of art and design in movements for social change.


Fahmi Reza เป็นนักออกแบบกราฟฟิกที่เรียนด้วยตัวเองและเป็นนักกิจกรรมเชิงแสดงออกจากกรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์ ประเทศมาเลเซีย ในฐานะนักออกแบบที่มักมีบทบาทในด้านการเมือง เขาได้แสดงความไม่พอใจต่อรัฐบาลมาเลเซียมาตลอดผ่านศิลปะของเขา เขาเคยถูกจับกุม ตั้งข้อหา ต่อต้าน และถูกลงโทษจำคุก ตลอด 20 ปีที่ผ่านมาเขาได้สร้างกราฟฟิกเชิงการเมืองและได้ออกแบบผลงานและโปสเตอร์เพื่อเรียกร้องสิทธิมนุษยชนร่วมกับองค์กรนอกภาครัฐต่าง ๆ ในประเทศมาเลเซีย เขามีความมุ่งมั่งที่จะบูรณาการศิลปะและการเมืองเพื่อสำรวจบทบาทของศิลปะและการออกแบบในการเปลี่ยนแปลงสังคม
