Ghozali is a theatre director and actor based in Yogyakarta Indonesia. He has a background in sociology, and theatre. Since 2012, he has been working on the production of a play based on the history of a specific environment. In 2019, he directed “Plunge” dramatic reading, written by Jean Tay at the third Asia Play Write Meeting initiated by the Indonesia Dramatic Reading Festival (IDRF) and the Umar Kayam Foundation. In 2020, he initiated and worked as a dramaturg in the “Gymnastik Emporium” performance at the Jakarta Biennale and Indonesian Dance Festival. He is currently one of the Panels of Indonesian Performance and Theater Conference 2021.
