Creators’ Research Process 1: Bangkok Survey

BIPAM’s Bangkok creators gathered for 4 brainstorming sessions before spending 2 days exploring Bangkok together around the old town and new city areas. The first day, they explored the Bangrak, Charoen Krung, Talad Noi and Sampeng areas, and the second day, they went to Ngam Duplee, Asoke, Sansab canal, Phra Nakhon, Hua Lamphong, Charoen Nakhon and the area around Icon Siam. During the process, and based on what they discovered, the creators discussed which five senses they would choose to represent Bangkok in the first presentation session with the Tokyo creators’ team.
ทีมศิลปิน BIPAM ฝั่งกรุงเทพฯ ได้นัดเจอเพื่อระดมสมองจำนวน 4 ครั้ง และออกสำรวจพื้นที่ด้วยกัน 2 ครั้งในบริเวณเมืองเก่าและเมืองใหม่ โดยครั้งแรกได้สำรวจบริเวณบางรัก-เจริญกรุง-ตลาดน้อย-สำเพ็ง ส่วนครั้งที่สองลงพื้นที่บริเวณงามดูพลี-อโศก-เรือแสนแสบ-พระนคร-หัวลำโพง-เจริญนคร-ไอคอนสยาม ในระหว่างกระบวนการได้มีการหารือกันเพื่อเลือกสัมผัสทั้ง 5 ของกรุงเทพฯ มานำเสนอทีมศิลปินโตเกียวต่อไป
