เชียงรายเป็นเหมือนจุดพบปะของเวลาในอดีตกับปัจจุบัน เป็นจุดเชื่อมและปฏิสัมพันธ์ระหว่างวัฒนธรรมและวิถีชีวิตที่แตกต่าง ผลงาน 4 ชิ้นจากศิลปินที่ BIPAM ได้คัดสรรมาทั้ง 4 ท่านจะเป็นการรังสรรค์ขึ้นใหม่ตามลักษณะเฉพาะของแต่ละพื้นที่(site-specific) โดยศิลปินจะเข้าไปใช้เวลาทำความเข้าใจบริบทที่อยู่ล้อมรอบ ผูกโยงเข้ากับวิธีการสร้างสรรค์งานที่เป็นเอกลักษณ์ของตน จนออกมาเป็นเรื่องเล่าร่วมสมัย เสมือนนำเอาเลนส์ของปัจจุบันมามองพื้นที่ที่มีอดีตและที่มาที่ไปของตัวเองที่คนรู้จักอยู่แล้วเป็นอย่างดี ผู้ชมจะได้รับประสบการณ์สดผ่านท่วงท่า เสียงทำนอง ผัสสะ และบทสนทนา ที่เคลื่อนผ่านมาบรรจบ ณ ห้วงเวลาหนึ่ง จากการออกแบบโดยศิลปิน พื้นที่แห่งการทาบทับนี้อาจทำให้เกิดความรู้สึกโหยหาอดีต อาจมองเห็นเป็นภาพฝันที่เกิดขึ้นในเรื่องเล่า จินตนาการ หรือความทรงจำ แต่ไม่อาจบอกได้ชัดว่าเป็นข้อเท็จจริงหรือไม่ เพื่อนำไปสู่การรับรู้ที่สดใหม่บนที่ทางที่คุ้นเคย
Chiang Rai is essentially a crossroad where the past meets present, a nexus between diverse cultures and lifestyles. These 4 works curated by BIPAM is a new site-specific piece, where the artists immerse themselves in order to understand the context of the surroundings, and tying it to their unique process. The result is a contemporary story, a lens of the present looking back on the past rich with its own background. The audience will perceive a new experience through movement, music, senses and dialogue that converge at one moment in time. This superimposed space may evoke a sense of nostalgia, a dream imagery conjured by the story or the memory, but you cannot tell which, leading to a fresh take on the familiar path.

วรรณศักดิ์ ศิริหล้า นักแสดง ผู้กํากับการแสดง และผู้เขียนบท เป็นที่รู้จักในวงกว้างจากผลงานการแสดงเดี่ยว ผลงานของเขามีแนวคิดสร้างสรรค์ที่สะท้อนมิติความหลากหลายในสังคมจากการผสมผสานศิลปะเข้ากับอารมณ์ขัน สอดแทรกแง่คิด ชวนให้ผู้ชมตระหนักถึงปัญหาสังคมในมุมมองต่าง ๆ ซึ่งมุ่งเน้นการสร้างการยอมรับและความเคารพในความแตกต่างหลากหลาย วรรณศักดิ์เริ่มศึกษาศิลปะการแสดงจากประดิษฐ ประสาททอง ศิลปินแห่งชาติ สาขาศิลปะการแสดง ตั้งแต่ปี 2532 และเริ่มต้นจากการเล่นละครในรั้วมหาวิทยาลัยรามคําแหง วรรณศักดิ์เริ่มสร้างสรรค์ผลงานการแสดงเดี่ยวมาตั้งแต่ปี 2539 จวบจนปัจจุบันเขามีผลงานการแสดงเดี่ยวกว่า 24 เรื่อง เรื่องล่าสุดคือ “คินีและทูรันโดต์ (Chini & Turandot)” ปี 2565-66 ซึ่งได้นำไปจัดแสดง ณ ประเทศอิตาลี วรรณศักดิ์ได้รับรางวัลสุพรรณหงส์ สาขานักแสดงสมทบชายยอดเยี่ยมจากเรื่อง ‘ศพไม่เงียบ (Mindfulness and Murder)’ ปี 2555, รางวัลบทละครดัดแปลงยอดเยี่ยมจากเรื่อง อสรพิษ (The Snake) ปี 2559 จากชมรมวิจารณ์ศิลปะการแสดง และได้รับรางวัลศิลปินศิลปาธร ปี 2563 จากสำนักงานศิลปวัฒนธรรมร่วมสมัย กระทรวงวัฒนธรรม ปัจจุบัน วรรณศักดิ์สนใจนําความรู้เฉพาะตัวด้านศิลปะการแสดงไปประยุกต์ใช้เพื่อประโยชน์ในการเรียนการสอนและพัฒนาเยาวชนและสนุกกับการปรับใช้พื้นที่บนผืนโลกให้กลายเป็นโรงละคร
Actor, director, playwright widely known for his solo pieces. His works showcases a creative aspect that reflects social diversity through the meshing of art with humor and the didactic, inviting the audience to question social issues and encourage tolerance and respect of diversity. Wannasak studied performing arts under Pradit Prasartthong – a national artist in the performing arts – from 1989, and debuted in a play in Ramkhamhaeng University. Since his first solo in 1996, he has created more than 24 solo pieces. His latest work “Chini & Turandot” in 2022-2023, went to tour in Italy. Wannasak won Suphannahong for Best Supporting Actor from Mindfulness and Murder (2012), the IATC Award for Best Adapted Script from The Snake (2016), as well as the Silpathorn Award by the Office of Contemporary Art and Culture (OCAC), Ministry of Culture. At present, Wannasak takes special interest in adapting his unique performing skills to teach and develop young artists and transforming the spaces of the world into a stage.

Jitti Chompee
จิตติ ชมพีเป็นผู้ก่อตั้ง 18monkeysdancetheatre และเทศกาล Unfolding Kafka Festival เขาได้รับการฝึกอบรมบัลเล่ต์คลาสสิก โดย เดวิด ชีลด์ส และวิลเลียม มอร์แกน จากโรงเรียนบัลเล่ต์วราภรณ์ - กาญจนา ได้รับทุนการศึกษาจากโรงเรียนบัลเล่ต์ Jean M. Wong ในประเทศฮ่องกง และภายหลังได้รับทุนการศึกษาแบบเต็มจำนวนเพื่อศึกษาต่อที่ Ailey School นครนิวยอร์ก ประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกา ผลงานของจิตติได้ถูกนำเสนอในหลายเทศกาล เช่น เทศกาลจอร์จทาวน์ เมืองปีนัง, เทศกาล Rain Forest Fringe Festival ประเทศมาเลเซีย, Tanztendenzen ประเทศเยอรมัน, One Table Two Chairs - Euro-Asia Young Performing Artists Cross-Cultural Exchange and Education Program ฮ่องกง และ Kafka Symposium ประเทศญี่ปุ่น ปี 2556 เขาได้รับเชิญให้เป็นศิลปินในพำนักจาก Institut Français de Fès ประเทศโมรอคโคและได้นำเสนอผลงาน Tightrope Walker ก่อนจะนำมาแสดงอีกครั้งในปี 2557 ที่ Cite Internationale des Arts กรุงปารีส ด้วยการสนับสนุนของสถานทูตฝรั่งเศสประจำประเทศไทย และ Institut Française ปี 2559 เขาได้รับทุนศิลปินในพำนักของมูลนิธิ Kylian และโรงละคร Korzo ประเทศเนเธอร์แลนด์ ได้สร้างผลงาน Red Peter และนำไปจัดแสดงในอีกหลายเทศกาลทั่วโลก ล่าสุด จิตติกำลังทำงานในโครงการเกร็ดโขน ร่วมกับกรมศิลปากร และสำนักการสังคีต เมื่อเดือนกันยายน ปี 2564 ที่ผ่านมาจนถึงขณะนี้ นำผลงานการแสดงเกร็ดโขน หนังสารคดี ไปแสดงที่ Opera Limoges, Centre Chorégraphique National La Rochelle และในเทศการล Bienal de Danza Cali ประเทศโคลัมเบีย เขาได้รับเหรียญอิสริยาภรณ์ สาขาศิลปศาสตร์และอักษรศาสตร์ ชั้นอัศวิน (Chevalier des Arts et Lettres) จากเอกอัครราชทูตฝรั่งเศสประจำประเทศไทย
Jitti Chompee founded 18monkeysdancetheatre and Unfolding Kafka Festival. He brought his productions to participate in many international dance festivals; among which were the George Town Festival and Rainforest Fringe Festival in Malaysia, Festival Tanztendenzen in Greifswald Germany, One Table Two Chairs – Euro-Asia Young Performing Artists Cross-Cultural Exchange and Education Program in Hong Kong and Kafka Symposium in Tokyo Japan. He was also a guest choreographer for the Nederlandse Reisopera (Les pêcheurs de perles) in the Netherlands and at Teatro San Martin with Escalandrum (Astor Piazzolla) in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
He was invited by the Institut Français de Fès, Morocco 2013 for the residency artist program, where he premiered Tightrope Walker and again at Cite Internationale des Arts, Paris 2014 supported by The French Embassy Thailand and Institut Française. In 2016, Jitti has been granted a residency by the Kylian Foundation and Theatre Korzo in Den Haag, the Netherlands, in which he will bring Red Peter to Ho Chi Minh International Dance Festival, ChangMu International Performing Arts Festival, South Korea and CaDance Festival in Den Haag. Currently, Jitti is working on a project “ Khon : the Human Body : Embodiment ” in collaboration with the Fine Art Department, Ministry of Culture. In September 2021 Jitti was awarded the insignia of Chevalier des Arts et Lettres (Knight in the Order of Arts and Letters) by the Ambassador of France to Thailand for his role in promoting the performing arts in Thailand.

จารุนันท์ พันธชาติ เป็นผู้กำกับละคร นักเขียนบท นักแสดง และหนึ่งในผู้กำกับศิลป์และผู้ก่อตั้งกลุ่มละครบีฟลอร์ เธียเตอร์ กลุ่มศิลปะการแสดงที่ให้ความสำคัญกับการเคลื่อนไหวประเด็นปัญหาทางสังคมและการเมือง ในจังหวัดกรุงเทพมหานคร มีผลงานเขียนบทและกำกับ/กำกับร่วมที่ผ่านมา ได้แก่ I Say Mingalaba, You Say Goodbye (2565), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (2561), Demographic Survey (2560), Ceci n’est pas la politique (2558), Test of Endurance (2558) ซึ่งได้รับรางวัล Best Direction ชมรมวิจารณ์ศิลปะการแสดง (IATC Thailand) จารุนันท์ได้รับทุน Asian Cultural Council เป็นศิลปินพำนัก ณ สหรัฐอเมริกาเป็นเวลา 6 เดือน ระหว่างปี 2556 – 2557 เธอยังได้รับรางวัลสาขานักแสดงหญิงยอดเยี่ยมจากเทศกาลภาพยนตร์สั้นเอเชีย ปี 2559 และจากเทศกาลภาพยนตร์สั้น ครั้งที่ 20 จากภาพยนตร์เรื่อง “Ferris Wheel” และเมื่อปี 2557 จารุนันท์ได้รับรางวัลศิลปินศิลปาธร สาขาศิลปะการแสดง จากกระทรวงวัฒนธรรม
Director, playwright, actor, and artistic director and co-founder of B-Floor Theatre, a performing arts company focused on social and political issues based in Bangkok. Her past writing, directorial and co-directorial works include “I Say Mingalaba, You Say Goodbye” (2565), “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” (2561), “Demographic Survey” (2560), Ceci n’est pas la politique (2558), and “Test of Endurance” (2558) which won IATC Thailand Award for Best Direction. In 2013, Jarunun received a grant from the Asian Cultural Council in a 6-month residency program. She also won the award for Best Actress from the 2016 Asian Short Film Festival and the 20th Short Film Festival for her performance in “Ferris Wheel”. In 2014, she was given the Silpathorn Award for Performing Arts from the OCAC, Ministry of Culture.

ธีระวัฒน์ มุลวิไลเป็นหนึ่งในผู้กำกับศิลป์ของกลุ่มละครบีฟลอร์ เธียเตอร์ (B-Floor Theatre) และศิลปินละครเวที เป็นทั้งนักแสดง นักเต้น และผู้กำกับละครที่มีความสามารถหลากหลายในการสร้างสรรค์งานละครทางกายภาพ (Physical Theatre) ผลงานสร้างสรรค์ของธีระวัฒน์ผสมผสานองค์ประกอบระหว่างงานวิจิตรศิลป์และศิลปะการแสดง มุ่งสะท้อนให้เห็นประเด็นปัญหาที่มีความเกี่ยวข้องกับสังคม การเมือง ความไม่พอใจของประชาชน ความรุนแรงของสังคมในมิติต่าง ๆ และปัญหาเชิงโครงสร้างที่มีผลกระทบต่อชีวิตผู้คน ธีระวัฒน์ได้รับการยกย่องว่าเป็นหนึ่งในผู้กำกับที่มีความคิดเชิงวิเคราะห์ที่โดดเด่น ตระหนักถึงปัญหาของสังคมในยุคปัจจุบันและนำมาใช้เป็นแรงบันดาลใจในการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานอยู่เสมอ ปี 2555 เขาได้รับรางวัลปีติศิลป์สันติธรรมสำหรับผลงานที่ส่งเสริมสันติภาพ ประชาธิปไตย และความยุติธรรม มีประสบการณ์ในการร่วมงานกับศิลปินต่างประเทศอย่างสม่ำเสมอ ในปี 2562 มีผลงานการกำกับการแสดงร่วมกันระหว่างกลุ่มละครจากประเทศเกาหลีใต้ Momggol Theatre และ B-Floor Theatre ซึ่งได้รับรางวัลจากชมรมวิจารณ์ศิลปะการแสดง สาขากำกับศิลป์ยอดเยี่ยม, สาขาการแสดงด้วยพื้นฐานการเคลื่อนไหวยอดเยี่ยม และสาขาคณะนักแสดงยอดเยี่ยม นอกจากนี้ ธีรวัฒน์ มุลวิไลยังได้รับรางวัลศิลปินศิลปาธร สาขาศิลปะการแสดง ประจำปี 2561
Actor, dancer, director and one of the artistic directors of B-Floor Theatre, the multi-talented artist is a prolific creator of physical theatre among others. His works blends elements between fine arts and performing arts, reflecting upon social and political issues, the dissatisfaction of the people, social violence in various layers, and structural problems that affect people’s lives.
Teerawat is often touted as a director with outstanding analytical mind, well aware of present-day social issues and using them as inspirations for his works. In 2012 he was given the Peetisilp Santitham Award for his artistic contribution advocating peace, democracy and justice. He has collaborated with many foreign artists. For instance, his 2019 collaborative work between Momggol Theatre (South Korea) and B-Floor Theatre won the IATC Thailand’s Awards for Best Artistic Direction, Best Movement-based Performance and Best Ensemble. He was also given the Silpathorn Award for Performing Arts by the OCAC in 2018.
